Hookers for Jesus

We believe and adhere to a theocratic leadership structure rather than democratic, where God is the head and His power and authority flows down through his chosen leader as guided by the Holy Spirit. Theocracy is the rule of God directly through His chosen, appointed, and anointed authorities. This is to say that it is God who chooses, calls, and equips certain persons to lead His people. Throughout the Holy Scriptures, God raised up leaders to perform His will and exercise his rule, acting as his delegated authorities. These chosen people operate under Divine direction and wisdom in total dependence upon God.

As such, Ms. Annie Lobért serves as the chief executive officer and leader of the organization with support and assistance through a board of directors, advisory board, and a network of corporate partners. Our Board of Directors has been developed as a legal entity with responsibility and professional knowledge and background of organizational development, business structure and corporate law, state and federal tax compliance and liability issues, as well as law enforcement as it pertains to consumer and professional involvement in the sex industry. Our Advisory Board is being developed to include members of the local community with assistance and direction encompassing spiritual oversight and ministry development. Additional support offered through our Advisory Board includes ministry networking, financial accountability, resource development, and legal expertise as it relates to Christian ministry.

Organizationally and in regards to accountability, Hookers for Jesus is driven by a board of directors and advisors and lead by a qualified, professional staff. Our goals and objectives in ministry include maintaining authenticity and transparency in financial stewardship and spiritual accountability.

Management Staff

As the ministry grows, the leadership requires increase. The size of the ministry of Hookers for Jesus requires more leadership to operate than one person can provide. To that end, Annie works with Cindy Nelson, who serves as Vice President and Director of Development. Additionally, both Annie and Cindy work with a team of interns that assist with the overall development and daily operations of the ministry.

Annie's role as Founder and Executive Director is to be the primary leader and communicator of the organization's mission, vision, and values. Under the accountability of a board of directors and counsel of an advisory board, she has the authority and ultimate responsibility for the ministry of Hookers for Jesus. This is something that she takes very seriously and is grateful to have a ministry partner in Cindy Nelson.

Cindy's primary role as Vice President and Director of Development is to take the mission, vision, and values of Hookers for Jesus and provide the necessary leadership to the volunteer staff, programs, and overall development of the ministry to make them a reality. Annie is the primary communicator of the vision, while Cindy is the primary implementer of the vision.

Although Annie has the ultimate responsibility to oversee the direction of the organization, Annie and Cindy are ministry partners like Batman and Robin or Paul and Barnabas in the New Testament. As partners, they work closely together and discuss issues at great length. While there may be much discussion over the means to achieve the goal, the goal itself is unquestioned.

Batman and Robin fought crime. Paul and Barnabas shared the Gospel. Annie and Cindy partner to lead the ministry of Hookers for Jesus to help people find their purpose in Christ and grow in full devotion to Him. And what is awesome about this is that it allows both of them to exercise their God-given strengths and talents.

Cindy loves to get in there and wire things up and make sure they are operating well. She loves research and analysis, strategic design, and organizational development. Her motivational gifts are primarily Administration and Exhortation, while she additionally has a strong gifts of wisdom and discernment and uses them effectively in ministry.

Annie loves to teach, to sense where God is leading His people, and to communicate that destination. She loves reaching out to hurting people and communicating a message of love and grace. Her strengths reside in accepting the spiritual challenge of leading others to Christ. She lives to disciple others and takes seriously the responsibility to authentically communicate God's love.

As it says in the book of Ecclesiastes, two can accomplish far more together than they can individually. Annie and Cindy, along with a strong Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and wonderful volunteers make an awesome team!
