Hookers: Saved On The Strip l TV Trailer

Hookers: Saved On The Strip - Sex, Lies And The Raw Truth

Hookers: Saved on the Strip: Porn as a Gateway Drug (Video Clip)

Hookers: Saved on the Strip Exposes Las Vegas' Sex Industry Former high-class call girl Annie Lobért's Organization Provides Women Trapped In Las Vegas's Sex Industry A Path to Escape the Traumatic Effects of Human Trafficking The Las Vegas Strip is Annie Lobert's office and her job is to free women from the violence and exploitation of the sex industry through her faith-based organization, Hookers For Jesus. Our upcoming series, Hookers: Saved on the Strip follows Annie, who sold her body in Sin City for over a decade, as she now provides a path to a new life for women caught in the web of sex trafficking.

Annie established the Destiny House, a transitional home that provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment for women sharing a common past and a desire for a brand new start. Hookers: Saved on the Strip chronicles three women who are living at the Destiny House, as Annie assists them with rebuilding, reorganizing, and reestablishing their lives.

The three-part series, Hookers: Saved on the Strip launches Wednesday, December 8 at 10 PM ET on Investigation Discovery.

"In America, more than 100,000 young women each year are bought and sold against their will, and confront the dangers of violence daily. By showcasing Annie Lobért's innovative efforts, Hookers: Saved on the Strip shines a klieg light on this abusive and growing industry, as well as those who successfully escape from it," says Henry Schleiff, president and general manager of Investigation Discovery.

Freeing themselves from the control of their pimps, confronting their checkered legal problems, and embracing the reality of supporting themselves financially are all priorities for the women living at the Destiny House and profiled in Hookers: Saved on the Strip. Annie and her volunteers from Hookers for Jesus are willing to go where other organizations are reluctant to venture, including the chaotic casino floors, flashy nightclubs, and hidden realms of escort services to reach out directly to women who are seeking a way out. Hookers: Saved on the Strip captures this important work, and follows Annie home where she has built a life with husband Oz Fox, lead guitarist of Stryper, a Christian heavy metal band. Cameras capture Annie and Oz's life as they support each other in their careers and confront decisions like starting a family of their own.

Hookers: Saved on the Strip is produced for Investigation Discovery by Sara Productions, with executive producers Jon Kroll and Sharon Liese. For Investigation Discovery, Pamela Deutsch is executive producer, Sara Kozak is vice president of production and Henry Schleiff is president and general manager.
