Programs and Services
Hookers for Jesus is an international,
faith-based organization that addresses the realities of human sex
trafficking, sexual violence, and exploitation linked to pornography and
the sex industry. While we are committed to abolishing human sex
trafficking on a global scale, our urban ministry outreach, community
awareness, and transitional programs are based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The primary services and programs of Hookers for Jesus are mission
driven and are designed to minister healing and restoration of
individuals and families affected by sexual exploitation. The primary
services of Hookers For Jesus is to Hook (Outreach), Help (Transitional
Assistance), and Heal (full restoration) individuals & families.
Hook • Help • Heal
Our desire and goals include providing transitional support and
assistance to the youth and women seeking to leave the sex industry. Our
vision includes promoting spiritual, emotional, and physical wellness
in the community and in the lives of those who have been affected by the
adult entertainment industry. This mission is being communicated
through a nationwide educational and marketing campaign targeted to both
secular and faith-based audiences and organizations.
Hookers for Jesus is committed to our community! We desire to encourage
economic development as well as personal, academic, and professional
growth in every individual affected by the abuses of commercial sexual
exploitation. Our goals include providing human services opportunities
leading to self-sufficiency apart from a life in the sex industry. To
that end, our priority plans include providing case management and
support, individual health and wellness programs; skills assessment,
retraining, and career development assistance; criminal justice support;
juvenile offender mentorship; community awareness seminars and
workshops; and human services programming.
Keeping Innocent Sisters Safe- KISS Project
The Keeping Innocent Sisters Safe
Project is committed to working closely in support of prison chaplaincy
and assisting the work of the church behind bars. We are currently
working with the Southwest Prison Ministries team in effort to reach out
to women incarcerated in the Clark County Detention Center. During our
first five years of operation, our outreaches have included personal
visitation, mentoring, Bible studies, cultural events, provision of
literature for libraries, all designed to improve the quality of life
behind bars.
In addition to ministering in the Clark County Detention Center, we are
currently working with the Juvenile Public Defender’s Office and the
Family Court specializing in providing services for underage
prostitutes. Sadly, in 2007 alone, over 400 children were found working
as prostitutes in Las Vegas during a single month. It has been reported
that many girls are as young as 12 years old when they turn their first
trick. Our focus includes intervention, as well as enjoying times of
fellowship and teaching through personal visits and the Sister to Sister
programs.
The vision of the ministry is to teach former and transitioning
prostitutes to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize
their potential. Our goal is a community in which every woman
experiences a nurturing one-to-one relationship and support through the
church. In turn, this establishes positive character traits and
increases the young woman’s ability to make responsible decisions as
involved members of our community.
Destiny Center Home for Women

We are currently working in partnership with The Church at South Las Vegas
to provide a safe, clean, and sober home for women who are sincerely
seeking to rebuild, reorganize, and reestablish their lives outside of a
career in the sex industry. It is our desire to assist female sex
workers by providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment with others like
themselves who share a common past and desire for a brand new start. Our
goal and purpose is to address the roots of behavioral patterns and
lifestyle choices that hinder freedom and productivity in the lives of
those seeking to leave the sex industry.
The Destiny Center is a designated safe house. The home is
professionally protected with established state-of-the-art security and
surveillance measures. In addition to offering short-term residential
services, we assist women in emergency situations needing rescue and
safe house accommodations. This assistance is offered on a short-term
basis, only in life-threatening situations. Our programs and continuum
of services are designed as a bridge to healing, self-sufficiency, and
permanent housing.
Our unique residential facilities and programming is designed to address
the whole person: spiritual, physical, and emotional. Services include
individualized programs, professional counseling, nutrition education,
fitness instruction, life-skills training, and educational
opportunities. Our goal is to have each woman not only complete the six
month program, but also discover purpose for her life and bring value to
her community as a productive and responsible citizen.

Community Awareness
Hookers for Jesus provides a variety of services to individual clients
and organizations throughout the United States and worldwide through
speaking and participation in local and regional conferences, public
debates, news conferences, church conferences, public school assemblies,
educational trade shows, retreats and seminars, adult entertainment
conventions, and county and statewide festivals and fairs. Our
communications efforts include speaking opportunities and interviews
provided through local, national, and international print publications,
as well as radio and television broadcasts.
Additionally, we are developing the KiSS Encounter Women’s Conferences
to be held in the Las Vegas area on an annual basis. These conferences
are being established to assist and train men and women from across the
nation to effectively reach out to the lost and hurting trapped in human
sex trafficking.
Overall, we are working to raise the awareness of local, national, and
international civic and faith communities with educational resources
outlining the harmful effects of pornography and involvement as
professionals in and consumers of the sex industry. Our program focus is
to educate and equip the church/schools to minister recovery and
healing to lives already sexually broken by pornography, sexual
addiction, and victimization.
Financial Support Network (FISHNet Fund)
Our networking efforts include developing opportunities nationwide to
meet the practical and spiritual needs of men and women seeking to
transition out of the sex industry. A vital part of our labors includes
developing a monetary fund to support men and women seeking to be set
free from the bondage of the sex industry. We are developing a
rehabilitation program to provide financial support during the
transitional period. Additionally, we have developed requirements and
criteria for participation that will encourage completion of the
program, ensuring self-sufficiency in the years to come.
