What We Do
What We Do
The very first Destiny House was opened in Las Vegas in 2008 in order to assist and help women & children out of the commercial sex industry, as well as for those whom have been sex trafficked.
During that time, Hookers For Jesus was part of helping numerous women & children get out of sex trafficking and their lives were forever changed for the better.
Although our first location was closed in 2011 (due to circumstances beyond Hookers For Jesus control) the vision is still alive & active! We truly believe that a new home will be provided when it's God's time, and, unlike the first Destiny House, it will be one that Hookers For Jesus will own outright as a non-profit.
Are you interested in being a part of something unique that will really change lives on a tangible level? Would you want to us achieve this vision?
Hookers For Jesus is currently seeking partnerships of organizations and donors to provide a safe, clean, and sober home for women who are sincerely seeking to rebuild, reorganize, and reestablish their lives outside of a career in the sex industry. It is our desire to assist female sex workers by providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment with others like themselves who share a common past and desire for a brand new start. Our goal and purpose is to address the roots of behavioral patterns and lifestyle choices that hinder freedom and productivity in the lives of those seeking to leave the sex industry.
The Destiny Center will be a designated safe house. The home(s) will professionally protected with established state-of-the-art security and surveillance measures. In addition to offering short-term residential services, we assist women in emergency situations needing rescue and safe house accommodations. This assistance is offered on a short-term basis, only in life-threatening situations. Our programs and continuum of services are designed as a bridge to healing, self-sufficiency, and permanent housing.
Our unique residential facilities and programming is designed to address the whole person: spiritual, physical, and emotional. Services include individualized programs, professional counseling, nutrition education, fitness instruction, life-skills training, and educational opportunities. Our goal is to have each woman not only complete the six month program, but also discover purpose for her life and bring value to her community as a productive and responsible citizen.
